Hanan Mohammed

Hanan Mohammed is a third-year medical student at the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine with interests in neurology, hematology/oncology, and immunology. She has a strong interest in evidence-based medicine and scientific writing and is currently involved in several research projects, including multiple book chapters, manuscripts, and narrative reviews. Her previous research experience also includes clinical case reports.

In addition to research, Hanan is passionate about medical education and holds teaching roles, most notably helping lead student electives in psychiatry and immunology and serving as a neuroanatomy TA. She particularly enjoys opportunities that combine teaching, writing, and the exploration of complex areas of medicine.

As she continues her medical training, Hanan hopes to build a career that integrates clinical medicine, scholarship, and patient advocacy. Her goal is to become a physician who approaches patients holistically, advocates for their individual needs, and uses evidence-based medicine to provide thoughtful and compassionate care.
