Aisha Rizwan Ahmed is a medical graduate from Jinnah Medical and Dental College, Pakistan. Her research experience includes advanced biostatistical analyses using R programming, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses. She has demonstrated strong academic productivity through multiple peer-reviewed publications and presentations at international scientific conferences. She has also authored an academic e-book chapter on Statistical Analysis for the Meta-Analysis Academy, contributing to research education and methodological training.

Her academic achievements include two Bronze Medals for Academic Excellence during medical school, the Paul Dudley White International Scholar Award from the American Heart Association in 2025, and a Best Abstract Award at the Mission: BRAIN Global Neurosurgery Symposium 2025.

Driven by a strong passion for neurosurgery, research, and education, Aisha has joined the Lucke-Wold Neurosurgery Evidence Lab to contribute to the lab's mission of generating high-quality evidence that advances neurosurgical science and improves patient outcomes. Her long-term goal is to build a career at the intersection of neurosurgery and clinical research, developing rigorous, patient-centered evidence that can inform surgical decision-making and improve outcomes. She aims to further develop her expertise in evidence synthesis, biostatistics, and outcomes research while contributing to collaborative, high-impact research in neurosurgery. Ultimately, she hopes to pursue a career as an academic neurosurgeon and physician-scientist, combining clinical practice, research, and education to advance the field and mentor future generations of neurosurgeons and researchers.
